TSuite Readme Version 1.5

NOTE: tSuite consists of: (1) an Employee program for employees to clock in and out from their workstation, plus (2) an Administrative program to print/export payroll reports and to manage employee time records . Both programs are contained in the downloaded file named “tsinstall.exe.”

1. DOWNLOAD AND SAVE THE SOFTWARE

a. When you download the tsInstall.exe file, be sure to select Save when prompted to "Run" or "Save" the file. Record the folder location you choose to save the file.

b. If this software will be used on networked computers, copy the downloaded tsInstall.exe to each computer.

2. INSTALL THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAM

Install the administrative software on the administrator’s computer.

a. Locate the tsInstall.exe file, and double click it to extract the installation files and folders. By default, the extracted files will be located in a folder named “C:\TSinstall.”

b. After successfully extracting the files, an installation screen will appear automatically. (If the installation screen does not appear, locate the "tSuiteInstall.bat" file, and double click it.)

c. Scroll through the license agreement. If you agree with the terms, click on "Agree" to start the installation. If you click on "Do Not Agree", the installation will be cancelled.

d. On the next screen, click on "Install Administrator Program."

e. Follow the on-screen instructions. If a message appears asking if you want to Open or Save, click on "Open" to continue. During the installation, if messages appear asking if you want to keep the existing file, click "Yes."

f. After the files are installed, a message will be displayed indicating that the administrative module install was completed successfully. A program icon will be added to your screen desktop.

g. Double-click the program icon to start the Administrative program.

h. During the trial period, a window appears with buttons to Buy, Continue, or Cancel. Click "Continue" to run the program.

NOTE: If you decide to "Buy", a window appears to direct you to our web site to purchase a license. After you enter the required license key, the Trial window will no longer appear.

i. You will be asked for a password; enter "password" (all lower case) to get started. Later, you should change this temporary password in the "Custom Settings" screen.

j. If you move the database file (e.g., to a server), you must restart the Administrative and Employee programs after the move. A screen will appear to allow you to enter the new location of the database file. If the tSuite.mdb does not appear in the default window, click on the Browse button to navigate to the correct folder.

k. To install the Employee program on this same computer, skip to step 4 below.
